What are the arrangements of electronic components?

The arrangement of components on the PCB can be done in one of three ways: irregular, regular, or grid, or multiple ways at the same time.

(1) Irregular arrangement

The axis directions of the components are not consistent with each other, which is convenient for the layout of printed conductors, and has a high utilization rate and small distribution parameters, especially beneficial for high-frequency circuits.

(2) Rule arrangement

The axis direction of the components is arranged uniformly and the layout is beautiful and neat, but the wiring is long and complex, suitable for low-frequency circuits.

(3) Grid arrangement

Each installation hole in the grid arrangement is designed at the intersection of the square grid. In CAD (Auto CAD, OrcAD) software, the distance between intersection points is set in metric or imperial units.
